Science Lab
The departments of Physics, Chemistry and Biology work together to develop the scientific temperament of the Modernites. The school has well equipped labs to help the students to groom themselves. Students work on various projects under the guidance of their teachers, the spacious and well equipped labs and the expert guidance of experienced teachers help the young scientists work ingenuously.
We at Modern Public School don’t exaggerate when we say that the laboratories in our school are the best compared to the neighbour hood schools
- A large , modern state –of –the art Biology Laboratory is fully equipped with charts, specimens, slides, scores of models and mounts catering to both middle and senior school.
- A spacious and well-equipped Chemistry laboratory can accommodate 50 students at one time. The laboratory has a demonstration table, modern shelves to store reagent bottles, sinks and charts. Proper safety measures are strictly followed.
- There is a Physics laboratory which can cater to about 50 students at a time. Fitted with latest equipments, the laboratory is replete with charts and working as well as dead models. The school ensures that each student is able to work with one apparatus.
Computer Lab
Information Technology is an indispensable tool in education and NWS is committed to effective use of technology in the regular classroom. All computer labs are connected to our Intra school network and also have broadband access..
Library
A mega store house of knowledge in Modern Public school, its library has more than 3000 books and more than 30 journals in both English and Hindi. The huge, silent and pious reading-hall helps students to concentrate in reading.
E-Block
E block is an innovative hands on method to teach English at junior school level that creates a unique collaborative experience for young children that combines multimedia software and real object.
Dance
Academics are a sole focus when a child enters a new school year. Whether it’s mathematics, language arts, science or social studies, this is what a student is required to eat, sleep and breathe on a daily basis. Through these core classes, students are expected to excel and show progress throughout the year, but what about those students who want more out of their experience in school than just acing a test? How can someone express themselves in other ways outside of a classroom?
The simplest answer: Dance. With an aim to provide quality dance training and making dance available to all, We training in Bharatnatyam, Indian Classical Dance & Folk , etc. The classes give them an opportunity to learn dance, express themselves creatively and perform on stage.
Music
If you thought that just maths and science are essential for the development of ideas and techniques in a child then you might need to rethink that for music is as essential as any core subject. Whether a child plays music just for fun or whether he wants to take it to a professional level, music is highly important for laying down a strong foundation of language development, mental abilities or general life lessons in a child, and this is why Modern Public school on the importance of introduction of music in the curriculum of schools. The schools in India need to realise that music can enrich the life of students beyond measure. In today’s time when children are distracted by the world of digital media, music can bring a sense of discipline and calmness into their lives.
Art & Craft
This may seem like a no-brainer, but the arts allow kids to express themselves better than math or science. In an arts program, your child will be asked to recite a monologue in 6 different ways, create a painting that represents a memory, or compose a new rhythm to enhance a piece of music. If children have practice thinking creatively, it will come naturally to them now and in their future career.
